The better the references, the more we can see.

You do not need a professional photograph. A small group of honest, sharp images is more useful than one perfect pose.

Works best

  • Natural light and accurate coat colour
  • Sharp eyes, visible ears, and eye-level angles
  • Several views that reveal different markings

Avoid when possible

  • Heavy filters or coloured lighting
  • Cropped ears, hidden eyes, or strong backlight
  • Screenshots and one very blurry reference

If your pet has passed away, send the photographs you have. Older or imperfect images can still be useful when several views are combined.
